Health Science 101 Guidelines

Greetings! Welcome to Health Science.

Here's where we talk about the latest fad diets, the advantages of vegetarianism, the joy of exercise and good health. Like everywhere else at Tweb our decorum rules apply.

This is a place to exchange ideas and network with other health conscience folks, this isn't a forum for heated debate.

Just wait a decade. Everything they currently say is bad for you will be good and vice versa. Remember when we were told how eating eggs will kill you?

I'm always still in trouble again

In health class in 5th or 6th grade they stressed to be sure to get "enough" iodized salt to prevent goiter, and they showed us pictures of people with great big skin bags on their necks.... I salted EVERYTHING, and now I'm told to cut way back on salt. They want me to get goiter, I guess.

Replace all that with and you have the right "pyramid"

When I was a kid I ate raw meat. I don't do it today because of the way meat animals are medicated. And parasites.

I like medium rare steaks but I would never eat a hamburger that wasn't cooked medium well.
