Re: I'm going to be a maid of honor!
Start thinking of interesting and fun bridal shower games to play.
The best bridal shower game I've seen so far is explained in the following:
List a bunch of questions and have the groom to be fill them out. For example, how many kids do the two of you want?
Then get multiple types of gum. For example, some Trident, Bubble Yum, Big Red, etc.
Make sure that you don't get like flavors....that ruins the game.
At the bridal shower, hand each guest a piece of gum and one of the questions the groom answered along with the answer to that particular question.
Then to play the game....the bride to be must answer that question correctly. If she doesn't....whatever piece of gum the guest had, HAS to be chewed by the bride to be.
Which means if she gets two questions wrong and one person has a stick of Big Red and the other person had a piece of lemonade Bubble Yum....they get mixed!

Then there is the over done Bingo game.
Ya know....
Where you hand out blank Bingo sheets and the guests get to fill in the spots with the items they think the bride will get at the shower.

Take a deep breath, pray hard, because if your bride is anything like most brides I know, you are in for a rough run.
Do your best to help keep her calm, do whatever you can to take pressure off her, tell her, in a gentle and non-confrontational way that she is overstepping her bounds when she does so, and no matter what, love her to death!
You will both look back on the wedding day and the process up to it with fondness instead of regret for hard feelings.
And, most importantly, have fun!
Securely anchored to the Rock against every storm of trial, testing and tribulation.

Don't tell the bride how ugly the bridesmaid dresses (that she picked out) are. Just wear it with pride knowing that one day, at one of those 'wear your ugly bridesmaid dress' parties, you just might win the prize.
Pretty Pink VICTORY is soooooooo very SWEET........ and PINK!

Do you need more ideas? If so....what areas do you need ideas in? Does the bride have specific colors picked out?

I need to come up with some ideas of games for the bridal shower, so if you have any, feel free to let me know. The shower is Saturday.

Give every guest a necklace of like Mardi Gras beads, and if somone says the word "wedding" they have to give their beads to whomever caught them saying wedding. The person at the end of the shower gets a prize.
Gift Bingo: Have blank Bingo sheets and have guests place an item name in each box that they think the bride to be will receive.
