Nonsense. No 'movement' is cowardly, intolerant, bigoted and misogynous; only persons can possess these characteristics. In other words, you were generically referring to all persons within a certain movement. Your opponents, rather than calling all persons within the pro-abortion movement undiscerning meanies with overbroad brushes, singled you out particularly as someone who saw fit to attack persons you did not even know, only for their attachment to a movement. Maybe they did so because they thought that not all pro-abortionists were like that, or maybe they did not know and did not want to assume it, or maybe they thought that the universal meanness of their political opponents was true but irrelevant to the discussion.

What matters is that they did not stigmatize persons they did not know; they attacked somebody they knew for a specific action.
