I need serious help!!

Ok, allow me to explain this...

I am doing a project for Free Enterprise class for my school right now. It's a group project where we have to design a product, come up with diagrams of the product, survey 50 people about whether or not they would buy the product, design a supply and demand curve based off these results, create an inventory and budget list for our product, and make a commercial for it. Yeah, it's huge.

I am charged with designing the commercial from video and music that we bought/recorded. And I'm doing miserably bad at it. I'm horrible with these programs and I don't have a clue as to what I'm doing. This project is due Wednesday, so if I don't get something done I'm kinda in a serious predicament. I don't want to get an F on a 200-something point project.

So, this is the thread where I'm going to post questions about how to do certain things. If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it. I will be giving pearls to those who respond.

I am using Windows Movie Maker. I am importing songs from Windows Media Player and video from a DVD.

CURRENT QUESTION: Is there any way that one can take a slide from powerpoint and convert it into jpg format? (at least a format that could be imported into Windows Movie Maker as a picture?) Secondly, how would I use Windows Movie Maker to make this slide appear for a certain number of seconds in the video? ( In case that was worded badly, how would I tell it that I want it to appear for say, five, seven, or whatever seconds?)

Ooh, I've only used it a few times so I don't know how much I can help, but I'll try.

You can export PowerPoint as JPEG. File->Save as I do believe.

Your second question, I'm not sure.

JS, you understand what $cir said about File->SaveAs right? You need to select JPEG (.jpg) as the file type in the little drop-down list in the SaveAs dialog box for "Save As Type".

Behold, it worked! The slide has been imported into Windows Media. Just have to make few more.

That alone probably saved me half an hour of guesswork!
