      Re: those loopy internet pictures...

Too few views. Just awful. I'm embarrassed to see my own thread's title appear and go on down the page whenever I have added something more to it. It could be that I have become unpopular on TWeb and 'regulars' (members) who used to come here have quit in order to avoid me. Me, and not the pictures. I think it's not only time to end the thread, but it's also time to end my TWeb membership, and not wimp out again, coming back like I have done.

When I returned here on this thread a couple of weeks after the posts I had made in that whine and rant about getting a Screwball award thread, where I had said I was going to leave Tweb, it was my intention only to put up all of my remaining pictures...so as not to simply waste them. But I got some encouragement from Jedidiah (and rogue) and so I came back. It wasn't long before I was as active again as I had ever been.

I had come back only to post all the pictures; period. If I had just erased them, I thought, that'd be a waste. I figured I should lastly share them with the audience for which they were found/saved [and] intended.

I made a mistake to start up again on TWeb after I had said I was surely done. I was addicted. I think alot of us are!

Thanks, guys, for following the thread. I wish it and the other picture thread had not been so badly gutted, with so very many pictures and gifs now gone forever... I hate to say I am going to close it, but even I am not staying on.

Moderators: Please close this thread today after I have finished uploading the following entries. I might have to use more than one post box. The uploading slows way down after a couple dozen have been readied to submit.

In my opinion, the single most telling piece of evidence that shows how poorly we're manifesting our call to care for animals is the recent creation of factory farms. Over the last century we have, to a large degree, reduced farm animals to commercialized commodities whose only value is found in how efficiently we can produce and slaughter them for profit. Consequently, more than 26 billion animals each year are forced to live in miserable, overcrowded warehouses, where there is absolutely nothing natural about their existence and where they are subjected to barbaric, painful, industrial procedures.
This is a far cry from what God meant when he told us to exercise "dominion."

This thread contains Bible verses, and the other picture thread that I began can still be used for open submissions of images by any Twebbers interested in doing so. This particular one I'd like to lock though.

      Thank you.

To the moderator(s) who manage the forum in which this thread is in:

Please close the thread. For some reason every picture and animated gif, on all fifteen pages!, that I ever posted here has disappeared anyway, so why would anyone wish to scroll through them only to read the quotes I wrote-up of Jesus'?

      Re: those loopy internet pictures...

Well, ok; it doesn't matter anyway. I came here after a long time gone and I was surprised, and not pleased I have to admit, to discover that all the pictures I had found for the threads, and then posted in both picture threads that I began, are all gone. I guess it's because I officially left theologyweb (and probably on bad terms with some at the time?) and, no matter, paying for cyber storage space for SO many attachments does cost Tweb money. (Why keep the pictures on what became a dead twebber's picture thread?!) But this thread was more than a hobby, even though it was mine. It had a special purpose, I figured - a spiritual one ultimately. It was begun after I was called on the experimental practice I had tried out in a couple, three, threads to put up an interesting image with a quoted teaching from Jesus. I called it my random picture generator's work. Silly, I know. But I had become convinced that many people om Tweb either didn't ever know what Jesus actually taught or had kind of forgotten them. The other picture thread came later and was simply rec room fare that others took part in too.

Ah, those were the days when the internet was cranking-out huge numbers of newly dazzling to me images and gifs, the sources of many a mystery to me. Yes, I cringe now, since those days after leaving, when I began to notice more and more where some of those wild and weird images I'd put up here on TWeb had come from (the films and animated features, and such). Many were way! less than wholesome, but as stand-alone images they meant not to me then what they actually did in their original (& full) contexts. It might be too late for me to apologize for what I did in posting some of those. But I do apologize.

This thread was almost right away established and understood by moderators, like Sparko, (that cool pirate) to be where I was going to take my experiment to use "loopy" pictures to maybe draw people to [also] see the words of Jesus that might be kind of new news to them (?) I began with the book by Matthew, and later pulling quoted material from John, because these men had the distinction of being Jesus' first hand disciple witnesses and so were in the prime place in history to hear him teach and observe what He did.

The other picture thread was subsequently made to be the open-to-the-public one, and it still could be. Maybe some happy web surfers for internet 'art' will get it going again someday.

Hi to any and all who remember me!

To those who did not..and never were blessed by my grumpy manic rants or my lofty preachings, either one :) Remember that YOU, whoever you are, Twebber member or lurker extraordinaire!, are dearly loved by God right now. You have unsurpassable worth to the Creator God Being - so much so that He took humanity onto himself in the real man, Jesus, to accomplish something for us. It was a necessary mission. He decided it was the only way his moral standrad could be upheld in a way that satisfied it and him. His own standard was violated, so it makes some sense to me that he needed a way of rightly being able to save people from condemnation and punishment. This was the way that satisfied him: take humanity to himself (He is a Spirit) in the man, Jesus.

Still with me? Not nodding off?! Jesus, who is the only incarnation of God; he paid the penalty for all peoples' sins. Today you can decide to trust in him and that sacrifice he made on the cross in your place and the result is that you're freely forgiven! And that's just part of it. The gift of God is also permanent life as a human soul, and [to recieve] an imperishable body someday. I repented, keep on practicing repentence as a lifestyle choice, placed my faith (trust) in Jesus and in the sure adequacy & effectiveness of his gospel of salvation plan - am endevouring to follow him as the Lord...and I feel hopeful!
