I told you, in particular ! Are you not seeing me do this ?? The more pictures the more the potential to attract people to see the sayings of Jesus in the course of.... I am trying to attract nonbelieving men, primarily, so I am not posting cute pictures.

I don't have a "freaky obsession" any more than you may be "freaky jealous." Cool the engines. There are PLENTY of spam threads to see on TWeb that are very actice, and daily so (and no more substantial than this one/kind.) Why haven't you posted another set of your own photos ?

Bottom line: I'm not required in this rec room thread to either entertain or be informative in a way that is obviously popular.

In my opinion, the single most telling piece of evidence that shows how poorly we're manifesting our call to care for animals is the recent creation of factory farms. Over the last century we have, to a large degree, reduced farm animals to commercialized commodities whose only value is found in how efficiently we can produce and slaughter them for profit. Consequently, more than 26 billion animals each year are forced to live in miserable, overcrowded warehouses, where there is absolutely nothing natural about their existence and where they are subjected to barbaric, painful, industrial procedures.
This is a far cry from what God meant when he told us to exercise "dominion."

You did more than ask a question. You made a personal judgement about me.

You like internet pictures just like I do. Your avatar is based on the same kind of pictures I am posting here. For example, I posted [this] on Meh_Gerbil's "I Didn't Know Tuck Had Tattoos" thread:

..........Martha then said to Jesus, 'Master, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.
And even now I know that whatever You ask from God, He will grant it to you
      .'

Jesus said to her, "Your brother shall rise again."

Martha replied, 'I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.'

Jesus said to her, "I am, myself, the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever puts their faith in and cleaves to me, although he may die, yet he shall live; and whoever continues to live and believes in me shall never actually die at all. Do you believe this ?"

She said to him, 'Yes, Lord, I do believe that You are the Messiah, the Son of God, He Who was to come into the world.' [It is for Your coming that the world has waited.]

"How blessed are you whenever people despise you, and when they ostracize you and insult you and spurn your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.

Rejoice and be glad when that happens; yes, exult and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is rich in heaven. For that is just how their fathers treated the prophets."

      ..........

"Woe to you when people speak well of you, for that is just how their fathers treated the false prophets !
Nevertheless, to you who are listening, what I say is this:

      Love your enemies !
Do good to those who hate you,
      bless those who curse you,
pray for those who mistreat you."

      ..........

"Treat other people as you would like them to treat you. What credit is it to you if you love only those who love you ? Why, even sinners love those who love them. What credit is it to you if you do good only to those who do good to you ? Even sinners do that......But love your enemies, do good, and lend expecting nothing back ! Your reward will be great, and you will be children of Ha 'Elyon; for He is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked. Show compassion, just as your Father shows compassion."

.....from the NKJV this time. IMPORTANT NOTE: These quotes are being taken in order from a book of Jesus' quotes, so in a sense they are randomly selected::

Jesus, to His followers: "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.

If you were of the world, the world would love it's own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me."

      ~Jesus

      .....from the NKJV.

      ********************************************************************************************************
"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where theives do not break in and steal.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Mt. 6

Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much.
Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans.

So he called his disciples to himself and said to them,
"Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood." Mk. 12

WOW. This page is loading slowly. Sorry ! Maybe, with any luck, it'll "flip on over" to the next one today.

      =================================================================
"All that the Father gives Me will come to me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.

It is written in the prophets, "And they shall all be taught by God." Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.

Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life."
