OGM Files
Help! A computer issue that Twilly cannot figure out.
Awhile ago I downloaded the fabulous British show "Spaced." Seeing as it's not available for US DVD consumption I was hoping to burn them to DVD so I could watch them on my TV.
Well they are "ogm" video files. First I don't what they are, and second I don't know how to convert them (or what to use to convert them) to something usable for my Mac. Well something besides my VLC player, that plays them.
Twilly is in need. She needs to not hover over her computer screen to watch one of her new all time favorite shows.

Re: OGM Files
.ogm stands for ogg vorbis video container. You;ll have to download a specific codec to get something other than VLC to play it.
I don't know if there are any free DVD burners for Mac, I just joined the club. But since the Ogg codec is free, I would imagine there is something available.

Re: OGM Files
I just downloaded Perian (www.perian.org) It contains a bunch of codecs for quicktime, inluding Xiph Vorbis, Not sure if you can burn DVDs from quicktime though.
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can jump in here!
