Bumperstickers and Decals

I don't even like the Dealership's logo on my car, let alone adding my own sticky messages. Eventually, they peel, fade or become outdated - I'm again' them!

When I bought my Mercury (has 310,000+ miles on it ) I told the dealership not to put their "brand" my car. They said, "but we put it on all the cars we sell". I told them while they had it in "make ready", have their porter remove their "brand".

(I had told them if they wanted to pay me to advertise on my vehicle, that would be negotiable )

Back in the early 90s my employer had just bought a new Mercedes. After finishing with the paperwork he saw a couple of the dealership's workers attaching a metal logo from the dealership. He raised you know what pointing out that he already owned that car and they had no right to drill holes in his car and attach their advertising. The dealership had to pay him a couple hundred dollars for damages.

It is true they roast their beans much longer than other places, primarily because all their beans come from the Seattle plant and they want to strive for consistency. It's just like any other fast food. Blonde roasts (their "light" roasts) aren't bad. They're definitely closer to a typical medium roast than a regular light roast. I also rather like Verona, which is a dark roast but it is entirely possible to taste the notes of cocoa unlike the notes in other dark roasts. Pike, which is the "regular" coffee that is served all day across all stores is pure garbage. Even the baristas think so. But, you know, "consistency."

I worked in the York Roasting Plant on my summer college breaks. Verona is my favorite common roast. My favorites when working there were Arabia Mocha Java and Arabia Mocha Sanani. I usually take my coffee black and bitter.

On topic: The only sticker I have on my car is an understated Pittsburgh Steelers sticker.
