Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2016: Year of the Blessing
    God’s plan always comes togerther…

    PEACE be unto you!

“I love it when a plan comes together.” Hannibal Smith from the original television show “The A Team” uttered those words toward the end of every episode. I’ve uttered I myself when something I’d been planning suddenly ended on a positive note. I found myself thinking about them in a modified version last evening, “I love it when God’s plan comes together.” We found ourselves needing to get our hands on my medical records from my doctors. One we knew was a sure thing, another we were sure would come through for us, but we had one we’ve been having difficulty getting reports out of one report in particular we’ve waited two months for. We got all three reports yesterday; I love it when God’s plan comes together!

Getting medical reports out of stubborn doctor offices is “small potatoes” for God. His plan for my life (and for your life) has been coming together before we were ever born. For me it’s rare I am able to witness God’s plan coming together as I did yesterday usually He’s either moving so fast I can’t see him or He’s moving so slow I am unable to see Him moving. In my case it’s usually the latter. There was a time it used to matter that I had no visible testimony that God was active in my life but over the past several years He’s proven Himself so many times I’d be a fool to doubt Him now.

While it doesn’t matter if I have visual proof or not there are still times when find myself questioning His plans for my life. “God, I’ve sure you’ve got a good reason for not healing my troubled heart and lungs,” I frequently find myself asking Him. Sometimes all there is in response is silence but on rare occasions He simply reminds me now I depend on Him 120%. During those silent times from deep inside my spirit questions me. “If God were trying to tell you something, would you know? If God were reassuring you or challenging you, would you notice? Ask for the grace to be free of your own preoccupations and open to what God may be saying to you.”

Believe in presence of the GOD and in the strength of his GRACE!
    GRACE and PEACE,
    Gary
