well It's December for me, so I'll post in here rather than in November.

PM, note one of the "owners" of this message board uses a quote from Rousas John Rushdoony in her signature and Rushdoony is where all the roads of the American Taliban lead to. He is the Godfather of the Religious Right, advocate of "dominionism" and as such..well, check it out. The idea that is a point against the fellow is seen the other way by many here.

The Scripture makes it very clear how God feels about divorce, He hates it. It is an Old Testament passage, but God has not changed his mind. He still hates divorce. It is not His will, it wasn't so from the beginning, and it is not so today. There have been occasions, both in Scripture and in our ministry, where a man was so vile that God has killed him. A woman can come to God asking Him to deliver her from a man if he will not repent, but a woman should be sure she has obeyed God in her relationship to her husband, before she asks such a thing.

Starting with post #169, he gleefully latched onto and propagated a comparison that likened JP's debate tactics to the overt hate speech of Fred "God Hates Fags" Phelps while hypocritically maintaining that he himself is above using insults in the course of a debate.

Originally for December I had planned on putting an in-depth rebuttal on Holding's "The Impossible Faith" but I have had to postpone this project for some time. I was hoping to deliver it as a Christmas present to the Holdings as well as his followers.

Also, as to why he now calls me Holding and not "Hominid":

A second reason is simple curiosity. I am curious as to what will happen if I decide to use his legal name? Will he start taking my blog posts seriously? Will he take me out of Tektoonics and start treating me more seriously?

Uh, no....as if that were the reason he's on tektoonics and not Tekton....he has a valentine for everyone here, too: (he also whines about Dee Dee's unfair moderation practices).

I have been wrestling with the question of whether or not I should respond to Holding. Honestly, I see very little point to it. I don't go to "Theology Web" to engage Mr. Holding because I see little point to that as well. Mr. Holding will never go to the Internet Infidels Discussion Board, which is where I would definitely go if I was to debate him. But he only debates at "TWeb" because that is where his adoring fans are and they stroke his ego, arrogantly mock the victims of Holding's derisive attacks, and bathe him with guru-glorification.

That reminds me -- some of you are falling behind on the guru-glorification and need to pony up!
