The Screwball Whine and Rant Area
Since my presence here on weekends is sometimes iffy, I'm opening this thread now. Please wait until tomorrow to use it.
Also, please offer comments in the discussion on Platinum nomination categories if you can.

Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

The Screwball Whine and Rant Area
In my opinion, the single most telling piece of evidence that shows how poorly we're manifesting our call to care for animals is the recent creation of factory farms. Over the last century we have, to a large degree, reduced farm animals to commercialized commodities whose only value is found in how efficiently we can produce and slaughter them for profit. Consequently, more than 26 billion animals each year are forced to live in miserable, overcrowded warehouses, where there is absolutely nothing natural about their existence and where they are subjected to barbaric, painful, industrial procedures.
This is a far cry from what God meant when he told us to exercise "dominion." (Pastor Greg Boyd.)

Re: December 2007 Screwballs
You are forming an unhealthy relationship with people. Over the years you have assumed the role of heading a fight club, of sorts. Read your hate mail if you want to, but what good does it do for anyone to open it up here ? The spirit of combatitveness you nurture that way is not of God; it results don't serve, truly, to best further His kingdom.
Who doesn't realize that God's heart is for the lost and He desires that people be helped to come to repentence ! Our angering (as if a verb) can work against that [His] will, and plan. He is compassionate and slow to anger. By staying engaged as is done, and done and done, with the DJs and Jimbos of the world actually is to their spiritual harm. Pray for them or don't, but be done with them. Don't enable them and don't be enabled by them. There indeed does come a right time when nothing more can be debated to a good end, and it's better to let them go, unimpeded, the way away from the clear teachings and commands of Jesus' that they have chosen and for so long.
It's careless to invite (set up) people who are furiously angry at God and running hard from Him, to come here in your Tektonics forum to be humiliated and be feasted upon by the team you have made ready with your ministry. It's disgraceful. I have put in my time on TWeb--really invested in it, and so I have a right to speak up by now.
You have a good body of work in place. Build on it. Find your place deservingly in godly helping books, like you are in Strobel's newset. That honors God--it glorifies and pleases Him. You already know this. You show yourself His servant in doing that with Tektonics. I encourage you to focus your energies--narrow them down, and do more such good with your ministry.
We who profess Jesus as the Lord must honestly, humbly, keep as much as possible (with God's help) with what is obviously morally good to all, who are [also] watching, and remember that if apologetics is too unmixed with evangelism it's power is lost. If we are unwise, apologetics made specifically for debating purposes can become a cold intellectual pursuit--or worse: a carnal weapon. You are a powerful role model here on TWeb. Be careful; God will hold you especially accountable for your influence.
Alot of the people who come against you are not stupid. Some are believers along with you. Quit calling people that as a practice ! People are following your lead, JPH. Insults are not of God; we all know this--yes, even the unbelievers.

Re: December 2007 Screwballs
Dude, LA. ghariyal, even RAY COMFORT understands the concept that some will not come to repentance. If they feel the need to ATTACK us, either by e-mail or otherwise, they deserve what they get! How can you NOT see this?!
"If fighting is sure to result in victory then you must fight!" Sun Tsu said that, and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting than you do pal because he invented it! And then he perfected it so that no living man can best him on the ring of honor! Then he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF EVERY SINGLE ONE! Ehehehehehehehehehe. And from that day forward anytime a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a 'zoo!' Unless it's a farm!

La Ghariyal DJ is actively trying to deconvert Christians and you want us to end all engagement?

Insults are not of God? Really. "You whitewashed wall." "You brood of vipers." "You son of the devil, will you never stop perverting the truth?" Insults are not of God. Really.Tektonics Research - All content, no jokes.

Re: December 2007 Screwballs
As far as this illustration you have brought up goes, I say we haven't a mandate to judge people on another basis of condemnation that Jesus, Himself, hasn't defined. How is that passage about condemnation to hell/ the lake of fire an insult of Jesus' ? Why are the lost lost--could be forever lost ? It has to do with a failure to do what regarding God's revelation, special (His Son) and/or general (in His creation as evidence) ? (Surely I needn't ask you.) What then becomes our responsibilty to them: what Jesus calls on us as believers to do, specifically ?!

Of course you say it doesn't, because you can't even notice your hypocrisies in those statements. Unless you're really going to tell us those statements He made weren't insults.

Re: December 2007 Screwballs
I think that you, LA ghariyal, can't accept that the unrighteous will and must suffer retribution and shame. All humans are unworthy of God's grace, but people like DJ are making themselves even more unworthy of it by resisting Him.
BTW; are we glorifying JPH as some sort of sect-leader? I don't think so - we're merely worshipping him! As any normal pagans would do!People aren't moral and rational because some sort of religion or atheism has automatically put that moral or rational thinking in them; people are moral and rational because they are the image of a loving and wise God.
