Most people care far more about getting money for themselves than "doing good" or "not harming their community." Money buys stuff.

Even pastors/priests, who are the ones who should most know better, sometimes do horrible things.

I pray that I never do anything really, really horrible by human standards!
If it weren't for the Resurrection of Jesus, we'd all be in DEEP TROUBLE!

Maybe I've watched too many idealistic children's cartoons....

I feel alien very often in the secular world, sometimes I feel of a different species. I can't relate to a lot of things in this world, a lot repulsed me on tv shoes, on the streets, in music, in movies, in commercials, in flyers, in books. I selectively have programs or music on and I am sometimes horrified at attitudes and apparel that I see outside

I'm with you. I don't relate to TV shows or popular fiction at all. And I don't get peoples' fascination with what so-n-so music star or movie star wore or did (or didn't).

I quite regularly feel like an alien (or at least an outsider) around other people. Have all my life. People don't get me, and I don't get them. I tend to be a very easy person to ignore, because AFAICT people don't really know how else to respond to me.

I actually am an alien, from the planet Piraticus Prime. Don't tell anyone.

                          Sometimes.
Many times I have a civil war in my head. Then of course I have people who scoff at me for believing.
It seems strange but it isn't. I feel alienated because I am different. I may be tempted and sometimes I fall but I ain't a part of the world.
Ithe may sound corny but you guys make me feel welcomed.

We are all aliens here, together. That is one of the great things about the internet, and tweb. Everyone is welcome and we are all equal (equally weird) behind our keyboards. Nobody knows if you are white, black, fat, autistic, mentally ill, physically disabled, etc, unless you want to tell them (well some are a bit weirder than others and it does show through, eh, Cow Poke?)

Yeah, that Sparko fellow is a bit off the charts though isn't he?
