Robert Turkel is JP Holding right? I liked his exegesis of the Elijah and the bears story (2 Kings 2:23) on YouTube, where he shoehorned into the text that an angry mob of 17 year old teenagers mocked and ridiculed Elijah, threatening his life. He then explained how Syrian brown bears innocently wandered onto the scene to which then, the angry mob subsequently attacked, as they were looking for a target. The bears, being thus provoked then turned on the angry mob of 17 year old thugs and slew them wholesale. I thought that was a particularly well done exegesis!

I honestly don't understand the obsession people online have with what people look like/what their real names are, as if it mattered at all.

To be honest, I wouldn't care if your real name was Bozo the Clown and you wore a red nose. It is 100% irrelevant to a thing you say.

It popped into my head one day, and I said to myself, okay, good as any.

His story is better. It actually was his birth name which was changed to Robert Turkel when he was a child by his mother (or perhaps grandparents???).

I know in my case it was an attempt at an intimidation tactic. Once someone thinks you don't want them to know something, it is a form of assault to try to dig and out and post it. I personally didn't care. I had very mentally abusive marriage at the time though, and those folks trying to dig up that information put me through many years of hell at home. That's okay, God knows, and God will judge.

But now that I am out of that situation, one of the first things I did was post everything online so jerks like that don't have any power over me. Anything that belongs strictly to *me* such as my name, I will never let anyone tell me again I can't use. Things I share with other people, i.e. a home address, workplace, I don't post, but if someone else does, I don't freak out. That's what stalkers do. It is an incredible sense of freedom though. And I am not exaggerating about being stalked. I had a cyberstalker (JPH knows about him, in fact JPH is the one who got him to stop ultimately) for just over a year. This person and a certain hyperpreterist posted directions to my house online and made a not so veiled invitation for people to come pay me a visit.

You forgot, did you? JPH was my birth name. If either name can be called fake, "Turkel" should be the one that deserves that label. Good riddance to bad garbage IMO, but that's a long story. Only regret is that I didn't do it when I turned 18, but I didn't know back then a lot I now know.
