Google Calendar
anyone else use this? Now that I know how to add other 'calendars' (like religious holidays and such), I'm using it even more.

Re: Google Calendar
Yes, I use it to keep up with birthdays mostly. I also mark special trips I'm planning so I don't forget to pack, and important school dates(like registration and school holidays).
The shared calendar feature is really awesome, too. Quanta, her sister, and I all shared a calendar when we were planning what we wanted to do at Dragon*Con, and when we were done we had an easily-printed schedule so everyone knew where they'd be and who they'd be with at any given time.
Here I am!

Re: Google Calendar
It's an application that acts as a go between for various calendaring apps and google calendar. I use Outlook as my master calendar and use calgoo to sync it with my google calendar when I'm on the move. Any changes to either calendar are replicated to the partner calendar.

Re: Google Calendar
Google calendar can do that in a roundabout way; they need to subscribe to a public calendar that they maintain and the calendar can ping reminders to them via Gmail. There may be other ways of doing it as well, but I've not really plumbed GCal's functionality in that respect. Calgoo would be the easy means of maintaining the calendar against a third party calendar app such as Outlook.

Re: Google Calendar
I certainly need to start using it again, its interface is nice and simple, though there's some annoyances I don't like. Its also kinda slow, being a web application after all. I can't wait till I get a Mac, so I can use iCal. I would sync it with Google Calender as well.
