  • Cross-Dressing Women - In IRAN!

But for a total different reason....

Some women are cutting their hair and dressing like men to avoid the Morality Police.

Women in Iran are cutting their hair short and dressing as men in a bid to bypass state 'morality' police who rigorously enforce penalties for not wearing a hijab.

A number of women have shared photos of themselves in public with their hair uncovered on Instagram and other social media.

The women have cut their hair short in some images and in others are dressed in clothes more typically associated with men.

The hijab is becoming an increasingly contentious issue in Iran as women step up their campaign against it and other oppressive, gendered laws. In recent months, women have been filmed walking through Tehran with their hair uncovered and activists have urged Western tourists to violate laws by refusing to wear the hijab during their visits to the Islamic republic.

So you are saying that these women are ugly enough to pass as men?

Maybe the average Iranian man is pretty.

And then there is the Iranian Women's Football Team (soccer for you Philistines).

Over half the team is male. They try claim that they are undergoing sex changes but most of them have only taken the step of wearing a hijab and shaving.

“[Eight players] have been playing with Iran’s female team without completing sex change operations,” Mojtabi Sharifi, an official close to the Iranian league, told a local news website.

Officials have now ordered gender testing of the entire national squad and prominent league players, The Telegraph in the UK reported. The eight players have not been named.

The women’s team plays in hijab headscarves, long-sleeved jerseys and tracksuit pants.

Oddly enough no. It's legal in Iran.

Sex change operations have been legal in Iran since 1979, when the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini issued a religious ruling, or fatwa, giving them the go-ahead. The law is in stark contrast to the Islamic republic’s strict rules around homosexuality and premarital sex.

How the heck does THAT work? If a man becomes a woman and like men, does that make him homosexual? Or if s/he still likes women, is s/he a lesbian? Seems like s/he would be in trouble either way. Besides I can't fathom that the Koran allows such a thing when they can't even have tattoos or plastic surgery because altering Allah's creation is forbidden.

"And surely I will lead them astray, and surely I will arouse desires in them, and surely I will command them and they will cut the cattle' ears, and surely I will command them and they will change Allah's creation. Whoso chooseth Satan for a patron instead of Allah is verily a loser and his loss is manifest." (4:119)

"He promiseth them and stirreth up desires in them, and Satan promiseth them only to beguile." (4:120)
