Well, some have come into Hearthstone and have stayed for about 40,000 revs. Remember, Eidolon had opened one of the gates and a handful of them were able to pass into Hearthstone (http://www.tektoonics.com/hearthhistory.html). This was shortly before he gained immortality. So a few have been in Hearthstone for a very long time and thus the question is answered of how they were able to create the selalighli.

That's my guess, but I'm just wondering what exactly he'll do in that state. But your theory of divine revelation is interesting.

Yes I overanalyse this comic, but its a nice relaxing and funny thing to do. I attack the bible with even more engagement than this. So there...

Good show Leo. I won't comment other than to say that:

1) You'll be able to see whether you were right on this by the end of ST #6. The truth about the selalighi is going to be a reeeal shocker.
2) Precog did NOT eat of the selalighi. Possession of a sort can occur even without that, if the subject is willing or off guard. How she got possessed will be revealed much later in the storyline, say about ST #9 or 10.

As for what Brom is doing? He sure looks solemn, but I bet its likely he has just recieved revelation. I'e, like how Moses face glowed when God had spoken to him on the mountain of Sinai, its like the glowing eyes of Brom is tell tale sign of divine inspiration. Or he's just gotten kranky and is about to go Super-Prycene

Revelation? I didn't even think of that one. My first thought was that he was somehow communing with either the selalighi or some sort of seaweed.

Unless he's getting ready to start growing ridiculously long tendrils or something . . .

But yeah, I had always thought that the power had come from within, but, as usual, it's more complicated than that. So the strength isn't necessarily limitless, but depends on the plant life around?

I'd wanted a near limitless strength ratio within himself, and then he turns out to be nothing more than a conduit for weed! How could you do this to him, M'kai, why?!

The question is one I have considered: Would Brom have less strength in the desert than in a jungle? I decided no. There are no limits placed in terms of the distance from which he could draw energy. Hearthstone would have to be made totally free of plant life to weaken him.

Oh. So he draws it from every source of plant life on Hearthstone, okay. So yeah, it's practically limitless strength.

So Brom's eyes glow green when he's at maximum strength. Does that ever mean that he could become completely "decharged". Would his "decharged state be at his normal strength before he become the hybrid we all know and love?

Haven't thought about it that way, but I'd say yes, since I do not see him crushing people with friendly hugs or handshakes.
