Nope. Expect Brom and Ehud to start exchanging blows in the scene after the next. And Felicity will get her Sonica powers back within I'd say 4 installments, though probably not the way you think....

      ...and they'll be needed.

Eidolon installed the whole map in Brom's mind, so why couldn't he pass him his knowledge about all this as well?
There is another thing. Brom is half-plant now. He can communicate with them. It is possible that the Selaghi are telling him all this.

Re: Shrike Team #6: Island of Conflict

It is, in fact, definite that the selalighi are telling Brom things...
“The mystery of the incarnation of the Lord is the key to all the arcane symbolism and typology in the Scriptures, and in addition gives us knowledge of created things, both visible and intelligible. He who apprehends the mystery of the cross and the burial apprehends the inward [principles] of created things, while he who is initiated into the inexpressible power of the resurrection apprehends the purpose for which God first established everything.” -St. Maximus the Confessor

"I would join countless numbers of evangelical Protestants and say I have come to know Christ with fulfilling and life-changing effects and daily witness His grace and leadership in my life. But just because God in His grace and mercy has met us where we are and adapted Himself to our unique cultural and religious circumstances in no way means He has abandoned His original plan. God does not contradict Himself. Truth is intolerant, and truth is found in the Church’s living and Holy Tradition. It is my growing conviction that only a strong living Tradition can protect us from the corrosive and destructive forces of modern life, the insidious and deceptive effects of modern pluralism, and the disheartening and confusing proliferation of religious opinions...What are we to do with this "cloud of witnesses," this Holy Tradition through which they live and speak with such clarity and certitude? Well, for me there seems to be only one logical response. I must turn to the Church and its sacred Tradition; I must listen humbly and be instructed. I cannot let God’s marvelous blessings of the past blind me to what I have missed or deter me from that to which He would lead me still. I must return home to Orthodoxy." Rev. Dorraine S. Snogren, The Road That Leads Home

I just had come up a wild theory....
Did Eidolon eat the Selaghi? If so, maybe that's what really caused his immortality and invincibility? Anyone faithful can learn to use the power of the Seraphs if they know how, so this aspect of him is quite mundane.

Re: Shrike Team #6: Island of Conflict

Eidolon eating the forbidden Selaligh fruit? That theory might not be that far out, unfortunately we don't know enough about the Selalighi yet. Now we know that they can convey knowledge as well, though they're probably not concious plants. Until we know more about their nature, we can't be sure of the sources of their knowledge.

We do know though, that Eidolon got his immortality from releasing the K'rek'skran and absorbing the power of the seraphs, you can read that in his Prologue. He can control the power of the seraphs, because any covenant member can do so.

Btw, did people notice the bit about the heights of the Tilkrigs? Apparently they used to stand tall. Eidolon talked of a judgment on the Tilkriegs here, and we also learned that both Tilkriegs and Sanslorians are geophagic here. I can easily picture an angry M'kai giving those arrogant and stiff necked Tilkriegs a lesson. Perhaps they were to be advisors in the past, but abused it, and since they grow enourmously arrogant when in a position of power, a fitting punishment would be height reduction. Nothing makes you think like a servant, when you have to look to everyone else.

We know a bit more about Darth'Ex now, though I won't reveal what I know from the bonus comics, other than to say that the chumbs are missing out. We know he has parts in S'klan missile technology here, we know he has part in S'klan displacer technology here, and now those polarium fragments on the island here.

I don't know what those fragments are for, they might be from some time travelling equipment, or experiments revolving around the portals. However it would constitute evidence that Darth'Ex has connections to the K'rek'skran. If he's not possesed by him, though I consider that unlikely, he's atleast controlled by them. Again the bonus comics gives a lot more knowledge about this.

We also now have even more evidence that the K'rek'skran have at least a small ability to influence the nature of their sorroundings, particularly around the portals where they can manifest themselves, [url=http://www.tektoonics.com/shriketoon3/shriketoon3035.jpg]here and now here.

Its odd though that when Felicity was possesed by Gen'a'too, he wasn't aware of what his master had been doing. I'm not sure if his master is M'l'strom, that's just a guess. Its hard to figure out how the K'rek'skran interact with eachother, and with their hosts.

Why could Gen'a'too only talk to his master by meeting him at the closed gate? Can't they just meet in the void? Or do the K'rek'skran completely enter their hosts when they possess them via the Selalighli, and not simple remote control them?

Two more pages. What's Ehud's power? Take a look....

As usual, Leon does indeed have some excellent insights. I won't comment other than on this:

Eidolon eating the forbidden Selaligh fruit? That theory might not be that far out, unfortunately we don't know enough about the Selalighi yet.
I don't mind saying here that no, he did NOT get his immmortality from the selalighi. His acquisition of immortality predates the selalighi's presence on the island -- you may have noted, if you compare the scene with Sheila in that room prior to its destruction, that the tank is a modification of a device that was behind Eidolon at that time; the selalighi are not in there yet.

Why could Gen'a'too only talk to his master by meeting him at the closed gate? Can't they just meet in the void? Or do the K'rek'skran completely enter their hosts when they possess them via the Selalighli, and not simple remote control them?
Yes. Their minds totally enter into their hosts. Their bodies I would say are materially dissolved and left in that interdimensional void they're trapped in.

Its odd though that when Felicity was possesed by Gen'a'too, he wasn't aware of what his master had been doing. I'm not sure if his master is M'l'strom, that's just a guess.
I'd say he was aware...at least of most things. What did you have in mind?

Sandman huh? This should be interesting; a practically indestructible being vs. a being with practically infinite strength and the ability to manipulate plants. Something's gotta give.

We all know that Brom's gonna live, so how is this whole thing solved? I suspect that Felicity will destroy that container (perhaps believing that Brom is defeated) and the selalighi along with it and this is how she once again unlocks the powers of Sonica. Destroying the selalighi will neutralize M'l'strom's ability to control Ehud and so either an exorcism or a complete destruction awaits Ehud. As for Brom, I think he'll suffer from the explosion, but will nevertheless live due to him drawing power and life from the plant life around. Of course, I'm probably not even close, but this is my speculation for now.

      Nice.

Since Ehud is one with the island...

Does that mean that his appearance [and possibly abilities] will change depending on his location [ie, if he's on Rock, he'll take on a rock-based body with extra invulnerability, or if he's on a grassy area he'll take on a plant-based body], or is the Sandman appearance a constant regardless of his location on the island?

And since he is, in fact, one with the island, does it have to be obliterated before he can die?
