Its odd starting this walk again, its as daunting as its wonderful, and somewhat scary as well. As Storico once said though "I want to make sure that returning to faith in Christ really IS a turning around and letting him back in TRULY" Any prayer or word of advice you have in that regard, I would gladly take. Its still alien to me, even though I now find it trustworthy.
Its been a humbling journey this last year, and I've learned so much from it. Perhaps God really did fulfill my original prayer to him before this fell away, just in a far different way then I expected. I don't wanna reflect too much on that anymore though, I think I should just move ahead instead. There's so much to unlearn, and relearn, and do.
Thanks again guys, you all mean a whole bunch to me, each and everyone.

I hope, Leonhard, that as you continue to seek him, joy and gladness will come, more and more. Also, in those times to come when you are poor and needy, may the Lord think of you and not delay in drawing closely alongside you.

In my opinion, the single most telling piece of evidence that shows how poorly we're manifesting our call to care for animals is the recent creation of factory farms. Over the last century we have, to a large degree, reduced farm animals to commercialized commodities whose only value is found in how efficiently we can produce and slaughter them for profit. Consequently, more than 26 billion animals each year are forced to live in miserable, overcrowded warehouses, where there is absolutely nothing natural about their existence and where they are subjected to barbaric, painful, industrial procedures.
