I'm confused about what your argument is. That one person had political experience and still turned out to be a shoddy national leader doesn't mean that someone with no political experience all of a sudden will turn out to be great national leader. If anything, it supports my argument even more--if someone with a few years of experience still isn't qualified, then someone with no years of experience is even less qualified.
