Re: Philately
I don't do much philandering.
Any. I mean any.
In the grave they chose to make their beds
Now all that they've created comes crashing down,
Down upon their heads
Death is waiting

Re: Philately
I used to do it when I was young, but I've stopped. It just reached a point where it was no longer ... fulfilling ... and I found other ways to ... amuse myself.
Sorry.

Re: Philately
I did it as a kid, and then stopped because of growing up and getting married and having kids.
But when my Dad died in 1991 and my Mom moved, she gave me the old albums that most of us kids had worked on at one time or another, and my husband also had some albums, and I found it very therapeutic and relaxing in that time of mourning for my Dad to start with the stamps again.
It seemed to be something relatively mindless that I could get into at that time. I still like to do it, but I only seem to work on the actual putting the stamps that I have collected into the albums about once every 2 or 3 years. I do like to aquire the stamps though, and always appreciate when somebody sends me an actual letter with a real stamp on it!
