Haddy's Questions Thread
At the request of Chaos Scade, I'm starting a thread for new member haddy to come on in and ask some honest questions. Please give haddy a warm welcome.

Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

"If God has given [his people] such joy now, joy in their faith, in their hope, in love, in the truth of his scriptures, what kind of joy is he preparing for them at the end? If he feeds them like this on the journey, how will he feast them in their homeland?"--Augustine of Hippo
"It cannot be that the people should grow in grace unless they give themselves to reading. A reading people will always be a knowing people."--John Wesley
"Wherever men are still theological there is still some chance of their being logical."--G. K. Chesterton

Re: Haddy's Questions Thread
and welcome, haddy!
People aren't moral and rational because some sort of religion or atheism has automatically put that moral or rational thinking in them; people are moral and rational because they are the image of a loving and wise God.

I Know of God through the revealing of Jesus Christ.this probably sounds stupid, but why is it that you believe in god?
I have revelations of Jesus Christ, because I sought God, and he chose to unveil himself to me.
