      New Website: Classic Apologetics!

      http://www.classicapologetics.com/

For the past few weeks I've been working on this -- the Classics Library is now its own website!

I still have a bit more work to do, but it is mostly done. I won't be running it myself, but it remains a valued and allied site for Tekton.

If you're interested, we're always in need of people to either find and photocopy classic works for us, or find photos or bio details for some of the authors that are lacking.

      http://www.tektoonics.com

Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

      The (good work, JP!) Curtmudgeon
The Reverend Earl Curtmudgeon the Sanguine of Frogging over Womble. (Peculiar Titles)

Let a man, an arrow, and an answer each go straight. Each is his own witness. God is judge. - Eastern proverb, as quoted in Hira Singh: When India Came to Fight in Flanders by Talbot Mundy

It was an idea that possessed every advantage except clarity, elegance, and a demonstrated connection to reality. - The Devil's Delusion: Atheism and Its Scientific Pretensions by David Berlinkski

...If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly. - What's Wrong with the World by G. K. Chesterton

"And we can take nothing out of the world. Is not that true?" "Is it not that we can take everything worth the taking?" - Zimiamvia: A Trilogy by E. R. Eddison

Thanx, JPH, for the avatar. Thanx, Muz, for the new tag-line. Thanx, Kelp, for the AotM nomination.

So that's what you've been up to!
"If God has given [his people] such joy now, joy in their faith, in their hope, in love, in the truth of his scriptures, what kind of joy is he preparing for them at the end? If he feeds them like this on the journey, how will he feast them in their homeland?"

Do you have anything on 19th century responses to evolution/geology?

Eniries under G. Frederick Wright and a fellow named Dana are probably about it. That wasn't an issue for most of the period the documents we have so far cover.

Oh and one of your Dana bio links isn't right.

      Re: New Website: Classic Apologetics!

Also, JP, I see that the "return to the main page" links at the bottoms of the pages are typically incorrect: the "index.html" should follow the "classicalapologetics.com" immediately, instead of being categorized under the letter as it currently is.

      Re: New Website: Classic Apologetics!

Thanks. I noted on the site that this thread can be used for corrections and notices like the above. Either I or the webmaster will take care of it.

He'll take care of the Dana thing in about an hour or so. The other will take more time.

      Nice.

I'll have to jot down a few titles for next time I'm at Chapters with Money to burn.
