Re: The Tweb Xbox 360 Club
Did anybody here pick up MK vs. DCU?

Re: The Tweb Xbox 360 Club
Just got the 360 for Christmas. Don't have any really multiplayer-friendly games, though. I've got Mass Effect, Fallout 3, The Simpsons Game, and the Lego Indiana Jones/Kung Fu Panda Bundle.
I haven't bought MK vs. DC, but I probably will eventually, as my wife seemed interested in it.It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me.

Re: The Tweb Xbox 360 Club
I had a terrible time finding a multiplayer game that could be played on a single console for the 360, which was kind of annoying.
Fortunately, Gears of War 2 has split-screen co-op.

I'm trying to play Dead Space and can't get past that stupid asteroid shooting section, even on the easy setting. Is there a solution to this, or am I just getting too old and creaky?

Re: The Tweb Xbox 360 Club
I bought Castle Crashers on the Arcade. It's a great game. Side-scrolling beat-em-up with RPG elements. Anyone that doesn't have it should try the demo. Multiplayer, both local and LIVE, without the inconvenience of a split screen.

Castle Crashers is amazing. If you have LIVE, we should play together some time.

You do know that you can fire with both triggers? It can be helpful to fire at a slow but constant rate (left-right-left-right) to lay down a field of fire. Additionally, some asteroids can be ignored they end up flying past the gun emplacement on the left or right.

Re: The Tweb Xbox 360 Club
I just got COD:World at War. Pretty fun so far.

Just so everyone knows, it seems Best Buy is having a sale on Ninja Gaiden 2. I just purchased a copy of it from a local Best Buy for $10. It seems most are out, but a local Walmart will likely price match it if you have an ad.

Re: The Tweb Xbox 360 Club
Left 4 Dead is my FAVORITE game right now. Seriously, I can't get enough. Did you say you had LIVE? If you did, you are free to add me, if you haven't.
If you don't have live, I suggest just renting it. It's possibly the best co-op game ever though. Playing it with 3 other friends is an absolute blast.
A great, and I think, underrated game."The road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the road has gone and I must follow if I can. I'm thinking about getting LIVE, but haven't quite convinced myself that I would use it enough.

Re: The Tweb Xbox 360 Club
It depends on how much time you have. They have pay by the month thing. It's about $7 a month or $50 for the full year.
I also have a free one month LIVE card and a 2 day one. If you ever wanted to just try it out, I could PM you the codes, but only if you actually were to use it.
Back on topic, L4D can only be played offline with one other person.
I think maybe you should give LIVE a try. Actually, I think they give you a 1 month free trial if you sign up for LIVE. So, it's not a bad deal to just try. If you weren't sure, I'd go for the 1 month thing only (as they charge you once and not over the course of the year)."The road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began.
