Hey theo, there are various sites that deal in background music and loops for Flash productions and so on. Some are like Stock Photo dealers, but for music. They will market and sell your stuff for you. You will be lumped in with a bunch of other musicians but it might be a way to get your name out there.
One place is Flashkit ( music is at: http://www.flashkit.com/loops/ )
They allow you to put your loops up as freeware or shareware. I think its pretty much on the honor system since I dont know how they can control whether you get paid or not. But you could put up some short "teaser" loops for people to use, and get your website link out there for them to contact you for custom work or longer pieces.
