Augustine's first answer: He was creating Hell for people who ask questions like that. (That was Carthaginian humor in his day.)
Second answer: There was no time. God created it. This is consistent with the Big Bang explosion where space and time come together.
Read it. It's a joke.Seondly, those who don't think much of my sources better read my latest blog post as it will put you right on that matter (using the da vinci code as an example)
Because we actually know something about the Bible you moron. Finally why do you not accept the sab translation? How do you know that you don't have the wrong translation?

Boredom: a refutation of an eternal deity. Sure. The fact is, no one knows what exactly went down before the universe came into existence.Originally posted by MikeWright
Firstly if god is not created then what did he do before the universe existed? He must have got bored.
Also, as Nick said, God created time and He exists outside of time.
I haven't read it, but what exactly does the parenthetical mean? Do you use the Da Vinci Code as an example of a good source? Or do you deny using the Da Vinci Code? If it's the first, that's pretty dadgum sad. If the second, that much is good.Seondly, those who don't think much of my sources better read my latest blog post as it will put you right on that matter (using the da vinci code as an example)
Because for one thing, the SAB isn't a translation, it's a commentary (a poor one at that). As I said earlier (and you apparently ignored), the SAB is using the KJV.Finally why do you not accept the sab translation? How do you know that you don't have the wrong translation?"I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened."

I guess you're unfamiliar with the idea that Time has only been around since God created it.
Youtube and Wiki? Crap sources. Youtube videos are just rants; Wiki is too easily edited by unscholary people. Scholarly books and websites are far better sources.Seondly, those who don't think much of my sources better read my latest blog post as it will put you right on that matter (using the da vinci code as an example)

Re: Jake and Mike's Pretend to Be Laurel and Hardy thread
Just for Mike's sake of understanding.....
KJV stands for King James Version. it is a translation of Greek, Hebrew and Latin documents, if i remember correctly.
The type of translation is that it attempts to render a more literal, word-for-word translation, but it is written in old english, so if you are not used to it, you almost need a translation of it.'If chance be the father of all flesh, disaster is his rainbow in the sky. And when you hear, "State of Emergency!!; Sniper Kills Ten; Troops on Rampage; Youths Go Looting; Bomb Blasts School", it is but the sound of man worshipping his maker.'.

Hey Mikey, you wouldn't be ignoring my challenge because you're afraid, now would you?
"If God has given [his people] such joy now, joy in their faith, in their hope, in love, in the truth of his scriptures, what kind of joy is he preparing for them at the end? If he feeds them like this on the journey, how will he feast them in their homeland?"--Augustine of Hippo
