Re: Until we all become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the Fullness of the Stature of Christ
I am not disrupting anything. you are the one ranting and screaming and accusing me of being a liar.
Your OP said:
and I am answering that directly. You brought it up. My skepticism is based on what the bible says versus what these false teachers are preaching. The running around on stage screaming and pushing people down and telling people to send them money for holy annointing oil and paper prayer mats is NOTHING like what the bible teaches. It is pure con artistry and false teaching.

So I am not disrupting your thread, I am calling you out on your false beliefs trying to get you to wake up and use some discernment.

Re: Until we all become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the Fullness of the Stature of Christ
The second half of my statement concern good versus bad skepticism was not included in Sparko's post, above, exactly because bad skepticism is what he is employing. The part that indicts him is that "bad skepticism focuses on a molehill of a doubt while ignoring a mountain of evidence to the contrary."
We can establish that for some, all doubt will not be erased. For others we can move on to consider the next things in regard to the Church developing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit that prophecy reveals the Church will become more adept in exercising.
There is a purpose for Bible prophecy. It was not given that the Church be merely informed of 'inevitable events.' The fact is that regardless of what it looks like now, there are greater and more important reasons that the Lord wants to empower his Church in these Last Days. There is a maturity that lies before us in the anointing.
God is pleased when people venture into faith realms of His mystery that have not been walked through before. "Without faith it is impossible to please God." Hebrews 11:6 "For he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that dligently seek Him."
God reveals more of His purposes through the mystery that is His Church, as believers diligently seek Him. He intends for His children to discover their role in fulfilling His eternal puroses. Take note of two key scriptures. Isaiah 46:9-10 and Ephesians 3:9-11. In the Isaiah reference, He tells us that what he has already said in the beginning, is still going to be the result in the end. This takes faith, discovery, and empowerment. On the face of what He has said, it looks impossible to achieve, by human standards and understanding, if He is going to use mortal men to achieve it. What is 'it'? Look at Genesis 1:26. It tells us what God's purpose for mankind was, from the foundation of the world. Then He spoke a blessing to man and told him to have dominion over the earth and all living creatures, to fill the earth and subdue it. Only the Garden of Eden was 'tame' at the time. The earth was in need of being subdued, and God was starting out with a man and a woman, two people. God didn't consider it to be impossible. He still plans to use us to subdue not only wild beasts, untamed winds and seas, but also demons, principalities and earthly kingdoms.
Sadly, much of the Church considers this task so impossible, that they are convinced God will have to do it to us, rather than through us. But God is not going to violate His own mandate that man have dominion on the earth. He is not going to give up on it. He is not going to take some short-cut whereby He fulfills all Himself, when His intent is that man, by faith in Him fulfill it.
This is just the starting place, but you should be able to see that it going to require more powerful works of the Holy Spirit in , on and through mankind than we have ever even considered before. Just consider this for now. More to come.Last edited by TyRockwell; June 13th 2008 at 10:10 PM.

Re: Until we all become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the Fullness of the Stature of Christ
Gosh, it's been a long time since I saw anyone invoke the name of Jesus to get rid of someone who was kicking his butt in a thread.

Hey, Ty, here's a way you can make it easier on yourself. Next time you start a thread, specify in the OP that this thread is only for agreeing with what you posted. It won't work. But it will get us laughing faster.
BTW, you hauled your own thread off topic by pitching a hissy fit when Sparko dared disagree with you and when you did that goofy thing you do of "rebuking" and calling someone a liar instead of putting up a good defense of your position.
Just argue your position as well as you can. There is no reason for all of this silly defensiveness. Disagreement is not a personal attack.Last edited by Crow; June 14th 2008 at 03:13 PM.

It is a waste of time to go round and round with Whatshisname barking the same accusations repeatedly. I moved on. He made his position clear already and has no proof of what he says. Its all about his inflamed opinion. He is unreasonable.
