  • Clinton invites families of blacks killed by police to speak at Democratic convention

Let's see if this actually happens, and how it turns out....

The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

She can do something like that, while being escorted to and from her hotel and airport by police officers and being surrounded by police and secret service? Wow. They should tell her, "Ma'am, if you don't like us we can always just leave. Maybe those families you are parading around can protect you"

Yep, and given Trump's speech last night the difference between the two could not be more clear.

How utterly classless. Not that I am surprised.

My best friend's daughter lives in DC, and dates a fellow involved with secret service and other top secret stuff. Apparently he has said that both Hillary and Bill treat their security like dirt. They are not liked, at all, by those who protect them.

My sister lives in Cleveland. She works on the edge of downtown, but decided yesterday to walk to the Convention. She was amazed at how safe she felt. She said she had a "personal police escort" everywhere she walked, and they were so friendly, many of them taking selfies with her.

Her husband is in law enforcement in the county, and said that Cleveland had transferred their own prisoners to the jails of neighboring communities (Bay Village, Rocky River, Avon Lake, North Olmsted, Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights, etc) in preparation for arrests all week, but I think the total arrest count was, what, 20?

BLM, upon hearing of the police presence and discipline, didn't even show up. They'll probably make it to Philadelphia next week.

Yup, my brother-in-law with Georgia Bureau of Investigations says the same thing - when Hill (particularly her, moreso than Bill) come to Atlanta, he gets to hang with the Secret Service, and they HATE being on the Hillary Detail -- they say it's one of those jobs that you have to believe you must have done something really bad to be punished by being on her detail. Accounts of her despicable treatment of her detail are numerous.

Starting to sound like the guy from Conan the Destroyer: "My cousin's sister's brother never said anything about bars."
