PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
IT'S A GIRL FOR THE PREGNANT MAN
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...070402413.html
So what do you think about all of this?
Me? I'm pretty livid right now. The world is going to be confusing enough for this little girl, without her parents adding onto it. Just how are they going to explain the situation to her?
What really angers me about this situation is that there are people out there who are so focused on complaining about the so-called prejudices of people who object to this situation, that they don't seem to have stopped to think about how the situation is gonig to affect the little girl. They preach day and night about compassion, and yet I really doubt they've taken the time to consider the hell that this girl is going to be put through. Not only is she going to be confused about this situation, but can you imagine the nasty things people in her community are going to say to her and about her?! And these people have fooled themselves into believing that those who do not embrace their agenda and who refuse to condone this sort of behavior, are hate-filled bigots! They don't even stop to truly consider what we have to say. Nope! They have their agenda, and by golly they're going to do whatever it takes to fulfill it ... no matter who they step on or who gets caught in the crossfire.
This is not about prejudice! This is about what's right and what's wrong! This is about the well-being of a child who is going to be confused and who is most likely going to feel very alone! For once, I wish these people would think about something other than their agenda. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they would start thinking about the innocent people that are going to be affected by said agenda for a change? This little girl is innocent, and my heart is breaking for her!
And if you think my compassion for the child and my heartfelt concerns about her situation make me a bigot ... then you're a fool. If you truly believe in compassion, then you'll have compassion for her too.Last edited by Chocobear; July 5th 2008 at 06:47 PM.

Re: PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
This is truly disturbing, to say the very least.
That poor little girl will have an incredibly warped concept of what it means to be female, thanks to her "parents."
I pray that someday she'll be able to look to her Creator. She'll need a true father-figure.
Postmillennial optimist that I am, I wonder how long it will be before this country suffers it's own personal apocalypse on account of the level of its sin?

Chocobear, all one cares about today is one's own "rights." It is perverse.

Re: PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
Which is what I've been worried about in our society. Words like "masculine", "feminine", "sex", and "marriage" really have no meaning. Everything is coming to simply be social constructs. The world is what society makes it out to be. Your identity comes from your society. There's nothing out there that defines the world. We must define it ourselves.
Makes me wanna puke.

Re: PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
All I know is: I hope I'm not around to see it. The thought of being around when the Tribulation happens, frightens me to no end. I know I'm not supposed to be afraid, but I am. It's human nature. The world is scary enough as it is. I don't want to be around when things really start to hit the fan.

My pastor has been known to say, "If you're confused about your sexuality, look in your underpants."
God created us the way He did for a purpose, whether we understand that purpose or not.

I think I'd like your pastor :) We need more men willing to be blunt in the pulpit. Honesty is sorely lacking these days, replaced by feel-good self-help seminars.

Re: PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
You definitely right about that.
People are so afraid of the actual truth that they'll make up their own truths in order to live in their delusion and what is worse is that everyone else supports them. That is what happens to a society where accountability and other hard values are replaced with happiness and soft values. These values are not bad but they should not be the sole basis of a society.

Re: PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
It isn't a man. End of exciting headline.
There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to dis-believe in their existance. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight. -- C.S. Lewis

Re: PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
Without being graphic, I heard this same WOMAN tell Oprah (I recorded the show out of shock/morbid) curiosity) that SHE was perfectly content to leave her female sex organs in tact. That's just how warped this is. She is convinced that she was originally intended to have been genetically male, yet for whatever reason, "he" is unwilling to make the final adjustment and get artificial male genitals. This person cannot even be consistent with their own perversion!

Re: PREGNANT MAN - What Do You Think?
The article I read said the reason she chose to keep her reproductive organs is because her partner had had a hysterectomy and this would be the only way they could have children together. However, since they are both FEMALE, they used artificial insemination, so I don't get why they didn't just adopt.
Poor baby girl. She has no choice over what she's going to have to endure.

This may be the best evidence that a "sex change" doesn't change your sex at all.

I don't care how systematic your theology is until you show me how biblical it is.
