Get Smart
This is one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long long time. If you loved the original series, you will love this movie. If you have never seen the original movie, you will not get some of the jokes, but it will still be an enjoyable experience.
This may be the first time a movie based on a TV show was actually as good (or maybe better) that the show. And I really enjoyed the show!

Re: Get Smart
I have, and I loved it.
Am I the only disappointed by the lack of 'good thinking, 99'?
Otherwise a fun, clean, fantastic movie. No gore, lots of silliness, and nothing sexual besides dancing and a kiss. We took my grandmother and she loved it too!

Re: Get Smart
I used to watch the show on Nick at Nite all the time. Now I hear it's on DVD. It's one show I'm really tempted to buy.
LOVED THE MOVIE! I saw it last night. Absolutely hilarious. I was laughing my head off. Told a friend I saw it with that Anne Hathaway was a perfect 99. (And a perfect ten in the movie for that matter.)
Absolutely great! I've been trying to find online now the episode of Get Smart where 99 gives birth and there's a fight outside the maternity ward between Max with his Control Agents beside him and the agents of KAOS.

Ya, me too. He also didn't do the thing with his fingers when he missed it by that much. Having the exact nasal tone for than was probably too much to ask. It was a great movie though.Am I the only disappointed by the lack of 'good thinking, 99'?
They had a spin off called Get Smart: Bruce and Larry Out of Control. It had it's funny moments, but without Max and 99, it just seemed like a generic inept spy/gadget movie.

I haven't seen it yet...but really REALLY want to. I have heard nothing but good things about it. I loved the series!
It was showing in town but it's not now.

Re: Get Smart
I liked the movie too. It could have been better, but it was nice clean fun.
And I also watched the spinoff dvd movie Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control. I thought that was hilarious. It would make a great spin off TV show.

I remember watching a Get Smart movie before, but I don't think it was the Nude Bomb.

Re: Get Smart
I saw parts of "The Nude Bomb". IIRC it was not as good as the show or the new movie. But that was several years ago, so I am apt to like it more (or less) now.

Re: Get Smart
I dunno, I might be thinking of the TV series, but I thought it was a movie. The main thing I can remember that is not generic to the series is Hymie getting hit in the back by a wrecking ball and not noticing it.
