      I have come full circle...

      My very first Apple product:

      I traded Dee Dee my iMac G4 for her old iPod Touch when she got her iPhone last week.

      This thing is great. After I wiped all of Dee Dee's lipstick and smooch marks off of it, the first thing I did was Jailbreak it.

      I just remember - I heard that you can upgrade to the 2.0 software and it won't break whatever extras you added. It is worth it, the appstore is amazing.

      $cir is there a jailbreak for 2.0 out yet? I heard people say they have done it but I haven't seen any software out there for us nonhackers to use yet.

      ps. If I upgrade to 2.0 don't I have to reset to factory setup first? Because when I jailbroke it it put a bunch of BSD stuff on the ipod, and I moved my apps folder to the user partition and put in a redirect on the ipod system partition. I figure that would screw things up if I just tried to update to 2.0 without resetting?

      Sparko, I'm not sure on either count. I heard rumblings that they have devised a hack for 2.0 already but I don't know that it's been released yet.
