Remember those 2001 anthrax attacks by mail?
Well, government investigators think they found their target. I don't know if others already knew about this, but it's news to me.

Considering how they had to pay the last “prime suspect” $5.82 million to settle a lawsuit that contended he was falsely accused and had been made a scapegoat for the crimes, I think I’ll withhold judgment on whether this was the guy or not.

If I had to work 18 years trying to solve one problem, I'd probably kill myself too. I can't work on a website problem for more than an hour before I start to go insane!

Just cause he killed himself doesn't mean guilt in the mailings.
It could mean he knew who REALLY did it, and the suicide was staged...

Re: Remember those 2001 anthrax attacks by mail?
A lot of people who indicate they are willing to testify against the current administration turn up as suicides.
Craig Spence predicted he would be killed and made to look like a suicide, and....he was found to be a suicide before he could testify. D.C. madam Debra Jean Palfrey was declared a suicide, as was her employee Brandy Britton.
And now we have this scientist who has won awards for his dedicated work performance committing suicide. The problem is that if he was responsible for the anthrax attacks that would prove the US was producing weaponized anthrax.
Four high profile suicides related to the Bush Administration's failures isn't a conspiracy, but it's not pure crazy talk either.

Re: Remember those 2001 anthrax attacks by mail?
That is what I was going to say rogue.
But 2001 psstt.... I was way ahead of the bell curve. In 1998 or 1999 our office had what fortunately turned out to be a false alarm, but was treated as an anthrax attack. I don't think I have ever been so scared when the men in the spacesuits showed up and sat us all down in the hall and asked who touched the stuff. I did (walked in it), but I kept my mouth shut. The persons who admitted it were made to strip, get into togos, and were taken down to the parking lot and unceremoniously scrubbed down with bleach totally in the raw in makeshift tarp tents, and then no local hospital would take them - none of them had any idea what to do.
Turned out not to be anthrax, but freaky experience. Didn't get any real press either. I also had my identity stolen about five years before anyone even heard of such a thing - the police wouldn't even take a report.
So I am way ahead on experiencing the newest and greatest threats.

Thank you my friend, my tinfoil hat is quite secure.
As is my tinfoil codpiece.
