Re: Are Liberals boring?
There's plenty of Liberal talk shows. Diane Rheem pops to mind right away. How about Fresh Air etc. It's just that the liberal talk shows are not the same sort of angry soap boxing that conservative ones are so they don't get the same attention as it pertains to the political sentiments. Most conservative talk shows are just conservative shock jocks popping off about the enemy, more in the op ed genre. Liberal talk shows cover a broader spectrum of items and almost never involve ranting and or more interview oriented.

Re: Are Liberals boring?
I personally do very little listening to talk shows. All they do is talk, talk talkatalktalktalktalktalktlkatlaktalk....
But I do enjoy listening to liberal talk shows more than conservative ones. It's just funny to hear how peoples' mouths still work after their brains have turned off.Last edited by fiddlin-john; April 10th 2009 at 01:54 PM. Reason: grammar mistakes!

Re: Are Liberals boring?
Ever since the election I've found conservative talk shows extremely boring as well. I used to find them slightly entertaining, now all they do is whine and moan. I listen to NPR mostly now. The liberalism can sometimes be a little annoying, but at least they do interesting interviews sometimes, instead of screaming into the microphone for three hours a day.

That was always my impression, although it might just be the stark contrast when juxtaposed with Limbaugh and Co.

Not that I know of, ShadowMaster.
I heard liberal radio for the first time several weeks ago. I thought it was pretty boring and that the people had bad taste in many of their jokes.

Re: Are Liberals boring?
There are definitely some middle of the road shows on NPR, but there are absolutely no conservative shows on NPR. However there are some distinctly liberal shows.

Wait, there are exciting political talk shows?

Re: Are Liberals boring?
Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are pretty entertaining. Hannity just sounds like he's trying to brainwash himself every time he speaks.
As for the liberals, I guess their shows are ok you agree with them. I don't so I don't really listen.
I think the person who made the comment about AM radio was right in a way, it's not a very "hip" medium. Liberals enjoy running things like MSNBC, the New York Times, and most other media outlets. That's where the money is.
