Unfortunately, it is true that there are some priests today who have same sex desires. This is not how it should be.

It is not due to any flaw in Catholic teaching, but is in fact due to the precise reality that modern man does not seek to live Catholic sexuality.

Already the undermining of human sexuality begins in the heretical rebellion, which no longer regards marriage as a sacrament, even though the heretics retain it. Hence, considering what is in fact a vital spiritual covenant to be a mere civil union, already the graces for this ultimate sign of what shall be in the next age with God are being frustrated. Later, as the majority of heretics accepted artificial birth control, they bred the marital divisiveness that leads to adultery. Later, the hedonistic conception of intercourse, which already disrespects both the unitive and procreative aspects, paves the way for the sexual revolution.

ABC also leads to the hardening of the fallen nature, which is lust and domination, hence, objectifying women. The result is the brute abuse and objectification of women that raises up stronger men in arrogance, and who hence exercise social persecution on weaker men, insulting their dignity, and destroying their confidence because they are more sensitive.
The lack of confidence in the weaker men leads to their feeling unworthy of bonding in either capacity in the legitimate sense (that is, with females, in the marital bed, and in the same sex, brotherly and fatherly affection). These grave psychological wounds then lead to the disorders that are same sex desires and other forms of passivity.

In retrospect, Catholic theology speaks in positive sense to both men and women, with this prayer: "Lord, help me be the man/woman you created me to be." A true man does not objectify women and use his superior strength for the purpose of arrogant domination. Authentic manhood is the self sacrificial love of laying down one's life in service and gift of self. True Catholic men, illumined by the God that made them, and calling upon His habitual assitance to live the virtues of courage and service, are what is needed to heal the wounds that lead to same sex desires. Authentic Catholic men are of courage and virtue, but realizing that God is their strength, build up their sons, fathers, and brothers, encouraging them to likewise call upon God as their source of strength to "be the men God created them to be."

The pedophile priests of today are therefore themselves victims of the fallen masculine nature that abused them verbally and psychologically, and are just as much in need of healing as the children they have victimized.

Therefore, except that ABC is eliminated, the wild tough guy machismo studs who fornicate and abuse and objectify women, and the poor weaker men whom they victimize into wounded disorders desires for same sex shall persist as a plague.

But humanity will NEVER understand that ABC is the root of this except they see the full Catholic light, for human sexuality is the image of the Trinity, and only Catholicism COMPLETELY understands the Trinity and its relationship to the mystery of human sexuality.
