To the few liberals
I just wanted to give all my favorite liberals a heads up. Rachel Maddow, liberal commentator now has her own show on MSNBC . It's on right after Olbermann. She's very smart and even handed. So tune kiddies! I've already made it part of my Tivo Season Pass.
Okay heading back to the arcade now.[COLOR="DarkSlateBlue"]/COLOR]

I know; I'm dying to watch it, but I'm still on my self-imposed TV hiatus. I'm hoping they'll add it to the line-up of podcasts. I've really enjoyed listening to her when she has filled in for Keith Olberman.

Sounds very cool! I'm a moderate, but I still like Rachel Maddow. I'll have to make sure to check it out.

Oh I wouldn't want you to change it - actually in the horsey shots, there are quite a few very nice pictures of her. I just found it humourous, but I think SJP is pretty in a nonconventional way, and I like it when women are like that. There is just one truly hideous pic of her in that lineup.

Re: To the few liberals
A little over a year ago, I decided to turn off the TV and see what would happen if I got 100% of my news and entertainment from other sources: internet, podcasts, radio, books, newspapers, etc. I only use the internet as a source of TV if I am going to watch a specific show or clip.

So far, it's working out OK. I definitely read a lot more and have spent a lot more time out in the garden, etc. I do miss some things, however, especially the Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, and old movies.
I'm sure someday I'll go back to watching TV, but I'm going to continue the experiment for at least a while longer. A TIVO would be nice, because it turns television into a "pull" medium. My sister says she can't live without hers.
