'Lifelong monogamy does not characterise the primary mating patterns of humans,' says Dr David Buss from the University of Texas

Women are predisposed by their genetics to have affairs as "back-up plans'" if their relationships fail, according to a research paper.

Scientists at the University of Texas say they are challenging the assumption that humans have evolved to have monogamous relationships.

The team's research has put forward the "mate-switching-hypothesis" which says humans have evolved to keep testing their relationships and looking for better long-term options.

Well, if god used evolution to make humans - meaning he used a multi-billion year process to create us from a species of social primates where having multiple sex partners was part of its nature and was necessary for its survival - why would we be shocked to discover that humans have many of the same characteristics that our evolutionary ancestors had?

I mean, seer's arguments are actually pretty decent when it comes to morality. I think it's a bit peculiar when people moan about him jumping in on the subject. I don't personally have the tenacity to constantly post against the same bad skeptic arguments from the same skeptics for days and days like he does, but I haven't really seen much from him that's not right on. Probably the major thing that I'd disagree with him is the idea that God's morality is subjective to him, but I think that's more an issue with phrasing than anything else.

Quite a lot about human sexual organs and sexual behavior seems to have been shaped by evolution, it's quite fascinating.

Seemingly, for a long time in our evolutionary history, women would commonly have sex with multiple men within a very short time frame. This has resulted in amusing developments like the shape of the male member changing to be efficient at removing the seed of previous men. And it also resulted in developments that cause difficulties in modern marriages - men are often finished quickly and cannot continue once finished least they displace their own seed, while women's bodies are more oriented towards a lengthy period of excitement and so often have not hit their highs before their single man is done.

Naturally God created us all like that because he wanted to trick people into thinking evolution was true, and to cause problems with marriages.
