I'd like to see the arcade back at some point.

Arcades are fun. Nice foosball table. Some classics like mrs pacman, galaga, mvc2, good food, and good people to play with.

You are catching on Wall! Hopefully, we won't twist your sense of humor too much...

              Why not?

I'm always still in trouble again

"You're by far the worst poster on TWeb" and "TWeb's biggest liar" --starlight (the guy who says Stalin was a right-winger)
"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight

I loved Tweb before the crash, I was one of the top posters at one point muzicman and myself were battling it out for top poster lol. There was colour and the fun and paltalks...I used to love the coloured forums...now its boring like every other forum. people were always in the chat day or night...now I come and say hi and never get a reply. Probably part of the reason I dont come now much... it was more than a forum it was a hub, a meeting place, a place to discuss any issue day or night about any topic whimsical or serious and someone was around to reply. we even had arcade games, like I say it was a place for anyone and everyone smart, dumb or in between it didnt matter there was something here and someone like minded. I miss the old days and the fun, but people move on and things change....now I spend too much time on Facebook

the old old tweb was fairly different. today's tweb is mostly sanitized of interesting people. Back closer to its creation people like me and gerbil were the norm rather than the exception.

even the boring people were interesting. we lost people like tuck, lakegeorgeman and ryokan and gained starlight, jiml and tassman instead.

                      I don't remember coloured forums.

And we HAVE to be better looking than facebook!

We are upgrading to a new version of vbulletin board soon and we hope to have a lot more features then. Including customized themes. Once we are up and running I also plan on doing a lot more to draw people back to us. We have been lax in that dept.

I think she's referring to the themes we used to have.

I'm pretty sure that all three of those "gained" were here pre-crash (starlight went by a different user name, which he prefers to keep private now). I also miss Tuck and LGM (don't remember ryokan that well).

Yes, it's why I said "old old" and "closer to its creation" rather than "pre-crash".

JimL and starlight (sl is one of the first people I remember debating) at least qualify as 'old old'. Not sure when tassman first showed up.
