Friends in Peru
The Trout family has some dear friends who've decided to take a three month trip to South America, part of the time is going to be used volunteering at an orphanage.
For lack of a better term, we'll call them the "Crazy Baker" family. Which includes Mr. and Mrs. Baker, their daughter and son.
Please join me in prayer not only for their safety, but that they would be able to shine the light of Christ wherever they go.
And if you'd be so kind, pray also that this time will draw them closer together as a family, and that this trip would be truly life changing.

Re: Friends in Peru
They must be really out there if your family consider them "crazy". They sure need prayer.

I have a friend who is going to Uganda in November with her husband for 2 weeks on the same sort of mission.

Re: Friends in Peru
We have several members of our church who go on similar mission trips to Africa and India. One week is a life changing experience, I can only imagine what three months would do.

I've done a two-week stint in Brazil. Three months would be amazing.
