      Syntax

Do any of you linguistics think it is possible to compare some verses from the Hebrew Scriptures in the Hebrew language to some verses in the Qur'an in the Arabic language in order to tell if they came from the same God?

Both Hebrew and Arabic are sematic languages. It sounds possible to me.

      Thanks.

Never mind folks. I found out from another site that it is next to impossible.

      Re: Syntax

I'm no linguist but it would seem more appropriate to use themes (which by and large don't depend on syntax and idiom) to estimate a common source or inspiration
