      The Gospel According to Jesus?

A book by John MacArthur I just started reading. Anyone read it? Is it good?

If they vanish in the risen life, they will vanish only as pencil lines vanish from the real landscape, not as a candle flame that is put out but as a candle flame which becomes invisible because someone has pulled up the blind, thrown open the shutters, and let in the blaze of the risen sun." - C.S. Lewis, Transposition.

      Yes. Yes!

I find MacArthur's books hard to get through, but very excellent.

It looks good, but at times quite repetative

He is quite deep. It takes me ages to read him. I prefer to listen to his tapes, but regardless, he is right on the nail with the truth.

Even better is Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal, by Christopher Moore.

From just seeing the title of your thread I thought you were referring to the Stephen Mitchell book of the same title and turns Jesus into a Eastern/New Age/Mystic.

...but im intending to read MacArthurs book.
"...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth."

"...God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God..."
