I love those jeans!!! I've taken jeans for my kids and sewn pieces of other fabric onto them to give them some character. My girls loved them. but they grew out of them so fast.

i've actually only made denim quilts, which are so warm and cozy!!! I used all the jeans my kids grew out of from the time they were babies. It's pretty cool.
I have pieces I've started gathering for a quilt for each of my kids using their second baby outfit (first baby outfit will be passed on for their kids) and maternity clothes I wore when I was pregnant with them, and stuff like that.
I just wish I had more time to actually spend doing that sort of stuff.
but I really do like those jeans!!
