I have visited the refugee camps situated in big towns, where many families live together in single room or tent, without any privacy. They are now homeless, poor and unemployed due to their faith. They can return home anytime if they recant faith to become Hindu again as many had recanted. The local Christian churches are supporting them a little temporarily. They have to be helped to new ways of earning livelihood in alien circumstances by learning new crafts and trade. They were all farmers and Shepard. This is a hard and humbling task.
They can’t return in near future as Hindu fanatic B.J.P party has absolute hold there. They have tortured and killed some Christians. All the churches there are burned or demolished along with Christian homes. Though government has promised to grant money for repair, fanatics threaten to burn again. So no one is taking the risk.
B.J.P. is not bothering Muslims now as latter are violent avengers. Christians are non-retaliating soft targets to them. So they vent their fanatism upon them.
If Christian British people had not subdued the reigning Muslims; India would have been Muslim country by now, as erstwhile Hindu Indonesia and Malaysia has become. Hindus becoming endangered minority would have been downtrodden then. But the ungrateful now majority Hindus getting everything from the Christian nations have become enemy to them.
But already the writings on the wall are there. Sans Christians influence kandhamal district is coming under the control of ruthless Maoists more and more. They are already murdering prominent resisting Hindus there. The atheist Maoists helped by China is already controlling one fourth of rural India. Neighbor Nepal is already fully captured by them. When one drives out the good, bad breaks in.
