Re: January 2009 Screwballs
Atheism. The ironic and self-defeating orderly appeal to reason for the existence of a reasonless universe without order, whose purpose is to evidence that there is no purpose, and whose morality is to argue that there is no morals except that which they have reasoned for their purpose, which, in turn, produces the ultimate emotional articulation of self-centeredness which is fearfully bent towards the cover up and suppression of belief in an ultimate personal cause who brings, order, purpose and judgement to all things. Oh yeah... I'm in.
Crab Battle
noun
Words uttered to incite an all in brawl. Whoever says the words 'Crab Battle' will usually be spear tackled to the ground by anyone else present, and all parties will then engage in a fight to the death.
Reality untouchable, transparent, invisible to our fixed, restricted fields of vision. Existence taken for granted, absolute. Possessed, owned, controlled by the common sense-infected rational gaze, onward forever we walk among the ignorant. Never stray from the common lines.

That reminds me of a "discussion" Sir-Thinks-a-Lot, Lilpixieofterror, and I had with a raving lunatic on TWeb. Very long (but entertaining) story short, he claimed that God was a bloodthirsty tyrant. I demanded that he back this assertion up, to which he responds, "Dude, read your Bible.""Look it up yourself"
I kept pushing him, telling him that wasn't a valid argument, but he continued to crap his diaper and whine without offering a single shred of evidence.
Good times. Goooooooood times.

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

Gom Jabbar should get Silver for this!
"By stating that "my suggestion would be to grab a dictionary (a Greek dictionary), and find out what the words actually mean" you only show ignorance and a shallow approach to language typical for not very bright people."
Yes, he is actually saying looking up the Greek words in a Bible to find out their meaning is DUMB."If fighting is sure to result in victory then you must fight!" Sun Tsu said that, and I'd say he knows a little more about fighting than you do pal because he invented it! And then he perfected it so that no living man can best him on the ring of honor! Then he used his fight money to buy two of every animal on earth, and then he herded them onto a boat, and then he BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF EVERY SINGLE ONE! Ehehehehehehehehehe. And from that day forward anytime a bunch of animals are together in one place it's called a 'zoo!' Unless it's a farm!

Youtube atheist (I can't post the actual video)
The bible has illustrations now? I told him to ditch his coloring book.burk909
God doesn't exist, and the only thing up in the sky are clouds, airplanes, birds, and the atmosphere. we discovered a wonderful thing called science that answers the questions of life, and hey, I'm not saying that science is always right, but the answers we get are much more believable than saying "it is the way it is because an old man up in a cloud made it so." Oh yeah, have you noticed how sexist the bible is, and how all the illustrations show white guys, when everyone was middle eastern?"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

Hahaha!! ROTFLOL!!!
This is an excerpt of a "debate" I had with a MySpace Atheist, who not only claimed to have an MA in Philosophy and to have spent 10 years studying Judaism and Jewish History and Culture (when he clearlt did not), but was also nearly twice my age.

Notice how he contradicts himself? I have the whole conversation along with many others on my MySpace blog.

In other words, he hates God not at all.I have hatred toward the fictional character of God as portrayed in the Bible just as I would Voldemort.
It's kind of hard to hate an entity that doesn't exist.

Yeah. It's funny how in his next response he then says he believes that Christianity exists and that hates Christianity and that he does not have to believe in God to hate Christianity when he just said he hated God who he believed did not exist.
