Why? Are they like Stone Fish that are poisonous to the touch? I'd agree their words are poisonous, but I didn't think they were THAT dangerous.
BTW, you never answered me. Are you interested in buying my genuine, totally-not-a-hoax, "anointed" prayer cloth? It's more anointed then my competitors.

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

Please see Galatians 2:11. And don't assume that they are anointed. When they teach false theology, I think it's rather safe to conclude that God has not anointed them.
The statements that they make are heretical and false. Teaching falsehoods within the church is unacceptable. Just as unacceptable as teaching that there is only one person within God or that there are three gods.God became man so that man might become god. -St. Athanasius of Alexandria

"Touch not God's Anointed" referred to kings first off. Secondly, it only meant you weren't going to kill them. Last I checked, no one is making death threats on people that are on Turkeys Broadcasting Nonsense.
Good Christian thinking will not likely be found on the TV. Go to a bookstore or library instead or a church that's well-grounded. You might find some diamonds in the rough on TV, but they're few and far between.

If Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch and Jan Crouch were truly God's anointed, then God would have given them better hair dressers.

Re: Is there such a thing as a GOOD local Christian television station?
tru dat. you figure that they could afford better wigs than that with all that money they rake in. but I guess no amount of money can buy good taste.
I think what really goes on is that there is some catch clause in the devil's freedom contract with God, that he can fool people all he wants but he has to give clues that his minions actually belong to him. Kinda like horror movie rules, where the bad guys always have to explain their plans in detail just long enough for the good guys to get away.
In this case I think the devil has to give his minions "bad hair" as a clue to the world that they belong to him. Its a law of the universe.
Examples: Hitler's Mustache. Stalin's porno walrus 'stache, and Benny Hinn's George Jetson hair.

Re: Is there such a thing as a GOOD local Christian television station?
I feel the same about christian Tv but I do respect some shows. I think what upsets my soul is the whole "Give money and you get money" Where in the bible does it say this ? Christian music has come along way but Tv programming not so much. I find this website has more to offer then TBN. The crouch family are millionaires and live the high life, I don't understand why not use that money for great Tv programming and stop with the rerun's and put commercials on TBN ! this alone would bring entertaining programs

History should be written from the original sources of friend and foe, in the spirit of truth and love, "sine ira et studio," "with malice towards none, and charity for all".Schaff, Philip, History of the Christian Church

Re: Is there such a thing as a GOOD local Christian television station?
I have a perfect offer for the people at TBN.
I'm a student in ministry and my finances are very tight.
How about you at TBN send me a good deal of that money coming in, and God will give you one-hundredfold back?
You'd think if TBN really believed this stuff, they'd be giving away money instead of asking for it.

When you give a "gift" and it's understood that you're getting something back, that's not a gift. That's quid pro quo.
