Comment by Gordon J. Wenham (WBC):
"Next year" (כָּעֵת חַיָּה) is problematic, occurring only here, [verse 10], and 2 Kings 4:16, 17 in a similar context. But the translation "next year" is made probable by the analogous Akkadian phrase ana balat (...).
