    I used to work as a sanitation worker and that job was very hard work. You had to be strong, tolerate the heat, and have an iron stomach. In fact, most people would either die from the strain of the work itself, or vomit their guts away. It certainly is not a job for everyone. But not once did I have the mindset that the work being very hard on me physically was an excuse to do my job poorly. No, I went to work and dealt with it because I was paid to do it.

      I thought I was taking Starlight's downplaying of the seriousness of a physical beating using nothing but one's own body to an extreme so absurd that it had long ago left the source material behind and was currently residing right in the middle of Obvious Parody Town, but then I read the screwball thread, and I saw this (among other things):

        Or it was an accurate representation of an absurd extreme that goes by the username Starlight.
