Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

A Planting of Faith Seeds for the Glory of the LORD
Your Life is precious treat it with Jesus…

“I know all the things you do, and I have opened a door for you that no one can close. You have little strength, yet you obeyed my word and did not deny me.” (Revelation 3:8, NLT)

I write this morning’s Glory Seed with both a heavy heart and a joyous heart. Two rooms away from me my Mother-in-Law is in the final stages of walking through the door opened by Jesus that leads to Eternal Life. As I listen to the sound of her breathing coming from the monitor I am reminded how precious life really is and yet at the same time I know the Life that is drawing her right now is far more precious than any of us can imagine.

There are times when I wonder why it is that it takes the death of a loved one or our own “brush” with death before we really stop and consider how precious life really is. Could it be that we get so caught up in living that the true impact of Life really is takes a backseat?

On the other side of Life yesterday as I held in my great grandson in my arms and felt the newness of his life I was also reminded how precious life really is. This morning as those two experiences one Life beginning a journey here on earth and another Life beginning a journey in heaven both born on the same day 95 years apart meet in my simple mind and as I look into the great mystery Life I can only say, “While I really don’t understand Life however I do understand Life is precious and when treated with Jesus the precious Life we live here becomes a precious life in Eternity. But that is not all! When we treat Life with Jesus the Life we live in the here and now opens up to the Blessings and the Presence of God the Father and it doesn’t get any better than that!”

Your Life is precious treat it with Jesus!

“Jesus says to you my friend, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, _____________________?” (John 11:25–26, NLT, adapted)

    Believe it! Experience it!
    Grace and PEACE!
    Gary

“Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed—for until then they still hadn’t understood the Scriptures that said Jesus must rise from the dead. Then they went home.” (John 20:8–10, NLT)

    Amen Gary.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)
