Prayer request for my visit to help India’s refugee Kandhmal Christians.

I visited them several times. Now I am scheduled to go there on 5/18/09. I am not sponsored or helped by anyone except Christ in my 45 years of Christian ministry. I don’t seek as I see those helps diminish Christ-dependence. But I seek prayer from others especially in the Kandamal situation. Many Christians there were martyred and surviving Christians are starving or going back to Hinduism. This time I am persuading them to start small business or self-help. Government is not helping except giving some inadequate paltry sum to rebuild their destroyed home. But to live in villages they have to be ready for martyrdom or apostasy. Majority has chosen the last. That is no concern for the government run by Orissa state Hindus. In our West Bengal province such uprooted people force Government to give full compensation by demonstration or fasting sit-in. but Christians loath to take that course as unchristian. Fear of attack may be another cause. I am considering of advocating this nonviolent course to them. Then I have to be in it.
By my meager resource I am trying to help them starting own business. Problem is they are farmers fearful of business ventures. I need more faith, love and guidance of Christ now. Please pray for that.

Thanks! But some constraints are keeping me away from them though they are seeking me. Please pray that those constraints are removed.
