John Hughes Dead of A Heart Attack
So long John, Save me a seat in detention.
In case you don't know John Hughes was the director of such 80's classics as "The Breakfast Club" and "Sixteen Candles" as well as the Home Alone Franchise.
I'm truly bummed about this. Those 80's teen films were formative for me. Heck, I still make all youth group volunteers watch the Breakfast Club because it is still so right on."Yes, I'm quite concerned about health care issues surrounding leaked radiation from Japan. Now, please pass me my super sized, bacon double cheeseburger, combo meal..."
When I was young I admired clever people. Now that I'm older I admire kind people.~Rabbi Abraham Heschel
My most recent faith struggle is not one of intellect. I don't really do that anymore. Sooner or later you just figure out there are some guys who don't believe in God and they can prove He doesn't exist, and some other guys who can prove He does exist, and the argument stopped being about God a long time ago and now it's about who is smarter, and honestly, I don't care. ~ Don Miller Blue Like Jazz

He also did the modern classics Uncle Buck, Ferris Beuller, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Good times
...the compass of existence held more than my text-books had revealed, more than I had ever dreamed of. In short I lost my superiority, and this, though I was not then aware of it, is the first step towards finding God.-A.J. Cronin
the burn notice commercial worked beautifully, the actual vid just froze. well played google-yxboom

Indeed. I am just so totally bummed.
