Re: Glee
It's an interesting concept, but it seems limited in the directions where the plot can go.

Re: Glee
I'm just wondering, have they aired more than just the pilot? It seems like it's been a few weeks and I haven't found more episodes online.

Re: Glee
No, there's only been the one episode. It was first aired a few months back at the end of the last television season in order to generate some buzz. They re-aired the pilot last Wednesday as the beginning of the official new televisions season, and new episodes start this Wednesday -- September 9. Glee!

Re: Glee
Who's seen episode 2 yet? For those who missed it, it is available on Hulu. I liked it okay, but have a couple nitpicks:
The end-of-episode musical number -- they did it more like a music video than a stage production, and I'm not sure I like that(not to mention I think they picked a really crappy song). The stage is such an important part of the show . . . I dunno. I'll just have to see what they do with the musical numbers later on.
The Cheerios' coach -- I forget her name. I liked her better in the pilot, honestly. She was condescending, but not actively hostile. Not yet, that is. I fully expected her to become more actively hostile as time went on, manipulating things in order to take down Glee club and stuff, but . . . not so fast. It just escalated too much too fast, y'know?

Re: Glee
I'm getting mixed messages. One of the beginning episodes gave the message the using sex to support the Glee club was bad, but it seems like every song they do has sex appeal in some way. In one of the episodes, I forget name of the song, but it was a bit over the top for a performance at a PTA meeting. I like the show's unique sense of humor, but I'm not sure how much longer I will remain interested in the show.

Re: Glee
If you're going to watch it via Hulu, realize that with many shows they are only allowed to show certain episodes(like the last 5), so don't wait too long if you want to watch it that way!
Edit to add: I just checked, and yep -- the last 5 episodes is all they're allowed to show. Which means you can still watch episodes 3 to 7 of the current season . . . but the first 2 are already gone.

Re: Glee
I love Glee but I'm getting a little irritated with it. I don't really like the songs they've been doing lately and I'm so sick of the whole Quinn/Fin/Rachel thing. All three of them are just getting on my nerves!

Re: Glee
Yes! Yes! Yes!
I just saw this week's episode, and the moment everyone's been waiting for has finally happened! I won't say any more than that because I'm not sure everyone's caught up(I usually catch the episodes the next day via Hulu because of my work schedule, in fact).
So just watch it! Watch it!
And yeah, they need to start picking better songs. They started off pretty strong. I still love their version of "Don't Stop Believing" that is what made me first really fall in love w/ this show. But they rarely capture that same magic with later songs. Ai ya.
