You just rephrased the same event. Those that are mentally disabled are naturally stupid.

As far as im concerned they just drew the short straw in the jean pool in both cases however your bible tells you its because your skydaddy made them that way.
      1) What's with the silly atheist canard with calling God a Skydaddy?
      2) Also, it's spelled "gene".
      3) It is okay to be mentally disabled. Nothing evil about it.

so your skydaddy made them knowing people like jon loftus exist, a church videod them and put it on hyoutbue knowing john loftus will laugh at it. Hardly johns fault then, notice nobody has responded to john lofts rtesponse to you all that he has put on his blog
John isn't mentally retarded. He just acts that way out of choice.

Retardation essentially means "slow", Mike. It's not a proper term unless you use it to describe a catalyst of some sort and etc. But calling someone a "retard" is not to degrade those with Down Syndrome or mental retardation. Even in the event it does to a certain extent, it doesn't compare with Loftus' statement by a long shot.

RationalGaze uses the word "retard" even though he says he has Aspergers Syndrome. Know what that is, Mike? John said the same thing he did about that church guy to Nick's face because he too supposedly has Aspergers. I myself can relate to this diagnosis and have had a difficult past getting through with the label on my shoulders. John is a scumbag because he is saying something to the effect of what Kent Hovind said about women: "If you can't advertise you shouldn't go into show business."

Or you poke fun at yo lunch because there keyboard is faulty however having a faulty keyboard is no more yo lunchs fault than being bad at singing is the youtube guys fault.
      What?

Of course it isn't his "fault", but that's what John is playing off of. He is basically saying that handicap people don't have the right to participate in society like a normal person because they wouldn't be up to good quality standards. Whether you agree with that or not, that is exactly what he is saying.

so tell me, why did the church film the guy singing when they knew people like john exist who will laugh at it. Its the churchs fault for allowing john loftus to see the video.
This is why both you and John are as smart as a bag of peanuts. Get the gist of the picture? The church gave him the chance to sing because he was a part of the community. If you can't understand that, you've probably never been a part of one.

That means the church didn't do anything to exploit him. It was probably a filmed tape that got leaked somehow and is now being used on EbaumsWorld and YouTube. How does exploiting a church member make any sense? That's a retarded statement. There is just as many churches which allow for the weak of the crowd the opportunity to be involved with its operations just as there are churches that are concerned only with making it rich off of gullible sheep. But merely saying that exploitation was what was going on at the time this was filmed without providing any evidence to back it up is just a biggoted perception of someone who didn't make American Idol. Ever wonder why Loftus has Simon Cowell on his avatar display?

So it's all God's fault that Johnny boy is a grade A jack ass? Amazing logic you have there along with a strawman of Christian beliefs. Too bad though that we find within the scriptures that it is possible for people to do things outside of God's will. Guess somebody might want to take a theology 101 class or would you get lost by the big words like 'Soteriology' that goes far beyond your ability to understand?

People ACTUALLY make fun of people that way?

Seriously, that's the first time I've seen anything as low as that, AND with people actually laughing along. I never expected anything like this in reality, really.

That's John for you. He might look vaguely like a cow-boy on the outside, but inside he's really just a disgusting little maggot floating in a pool of horse vomit.

Re: John W. Loftus, Friend of the Disabled

Oh my, this is another one that needs to be preserved before he edits it:

      http://debunkingchristianity.blogspo...suffering.html

Six years ago I was sort of browbeaten into debating a handicapped Walmart clerk named Nick, whom I didn't want to beat up on. The proposition to be resolved was this one: The amount of human suffering in the natural world is incompatible with a kind, caring, omnipotent father/creator God. I've since become sort of an an expert on this issue. But in preparing for that debate I saw how powerful the case against God from suffering was. I'm Doubting John. What d'ya think?. If you've read my book (which will be available again mid-October) then you have my most developed thinking on this issue, which I gained later in preparation for a debate on the same issue with Dr. David Wood. The debate with Dr. Wood can be viewed here.
      What a crock!

Aside from yet again making a consdescending remark about someone because of their disability, note that he says he didn't want to "beat up on" Nick. So if that's the case, how come his stuff in the debate is nothing more or less than what's in his book? Did he not want to "beat up on" readers of his book? Is he admitting he's purposely doing a half-rear-ended job because he has sympathy for his stupid readers?

I like what he says on TBT's blog now too:

And even if I have had no effect on you at all, I never thought the world revolved around me in any sense at all.
No, of course not John. Not the world.

You think the entire galaxy revolves around you!

      http://www.tektoonics.com

Due to rampant stupidity by Skeptics, and time issues, I'm only going to be on TWeb in my own (tektonics.org) section from now on. Deal with it.

He is indeed an expert on evil and human suffering... and he's got the certificate to prove it!

      Attachment 69292

Whenever I need to make fun of a handicapped person and I'm just not quite sure how to do it, I can't think of anyone else with as much experience and expertise on the subject as Dr. Loftus with whom I'd rather consult.
